i've never had a drink in my life, and never smoked or done any drugs. im probably missing out on some mildly enjoyable social experiences...but i am thankful every day that i am always in control of myself.

most people are using alcohol to avoid facing the problems in their lives. even if you're not getting hammered every weekend....i think its still a big problem if someone needs a couple beers to get into a social mood on friday night. i think that most people should spend some more time reflecting on whats going on in their life that makes those beers necessary.

my advice is to stay clean. you gain very little by trying to drink in moderation and there is a whole lot to potentially lose.
