Is there a single female person reading this site? Ever?

Just wondering.

Kayla (previously known as Mrs. Xaston) read my journal when I was trying to determine what to get her for Christmas, much to my dismay. We had a gigantic argument about it afterwards. Does that count?

My g/f is a lurker which I think balances out the universe since MVP lurks after my avatar picture of her.

My missus had trouble getting her pretty llittle head ( ) around the idea that you don't have to win every session to be an overall winner - her belief was that a being a winning poker player is only a temporary state, and that going bust is only a matter of time.

I tried to teach her about averages, variance and trends, to no avail, but when I showed her some of kenny's graphs the penny dropped (it also encouraged me to get PokerGrapher working with SQL).

The downside of this is that when I try to gloss over something non-poker related, she'll often retort "but the overall trend is still upwards, I suppose"! :)

Well, I know that DebiMac is registered here and she is an excellent representative of the distaff side. Maybe this will encourage her to say hello.

I wrote an easy explanation of pot odds and how to figure them on the fly, to a female that claimed to be math challenged. She was posting for a week or so in the journal section.
