I do know that apparently the % of female poker players is larger than average in the UK around 25% IIRC. I think the worldwide average is 12%.
Then again, I think there's something distinctly male about being a frequent poster on an internet forum, none of my female friends have ever followed any forums to my knowledge.
The male need to form a social pack?
It's also my observation that males tend to have hobbies/interests which their passionate about, or rather moreso than women on average. Would anyone else also agree with this?
Molina
EDIT - Also when I play backgammon online nearly all opponents think Molina is a female name and I initially get perved on A LOT. Far fewer poker players think I'm female. I thought I completely invented the word/name, while racking my brains for a screen name, though I find out it's a Spanish surname.
