Toughest spot I can ever remember being in.

This hand just happend and as per usual I have no reads whatsoever. Villain has had the big stack since I sat down and hasn't down anything to catch my attention in the hour and a half or so I've been at the table.

Just sick.

I think he has A7, 78 or 57 here so I think you should fold.

Of course if he has mad handreading skills AND huge balls then he'd look at your hand and realise you can't have had a set or 2pair on the flop, in which case the only hands you have that could call a river shove are 57/55 and he could think that these hands are highly unlikely for you to have compared to all other hands you'd have so he's shoving the river with a HUGE range expecting you to fold, ie, missed flush draws, T9, 56.

That being said, the average unknown 3/6nl player is not that good at poker. There's also the off chance that he's kinda bad and has a set or straight I guess.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Regarding the hand reading, I can have 57 here but I cannot have 55 given my flop play.

Also note that the different between 55 and my hand is actually quite small/negligible.

Yeah, you're right. It's late and im tired - I was thinking "well 55 and 57 are basically the same hands on the flop right? I mean what, they both only beat a bluff".

It's so rare to see an allin bluff here. While you do have an overly aggressive crazy image, there's no reason for a hand like AK to push.

I suppose it's possible you're looking at the straight or flush draw that missed.... but i doubt it. Not for that much money.

I think you're looking at AA. The player is likely cognizant of your aggressive play.. and decided to trap on the 2nd street, thinking you would not lead a draw OOP on the turn.

Flop is horrible. Reverse implied odds through the roof there.

River I don't really understand. Check/raise since your hand looks like spades and you'll get looked up rather light, or bet smaller so you can call a reraise quickly. This 222 bet doesn't make sense to me at all since it doesn't accomplish either, and puts you in this retarded spot.

And I still find it funny that people assume xaston is aggressive. If he isn't the one that took aggression preflop, he plays passively on the turn and river. But, people assume he is super hyper aggro postflop because he puts in a lot of money preflop and on the flop.

When I play a patient and relaxed game I win - that simple.

flop play imo: > >

I think by calling you accomplish totally nothing, it looks like a total spew. Care to explain the flop call?.

You represent AK/AQ a fair bit i think and he beats that. There for 76 is worthless.
