Live dilemma... 1/2NL...

Postby MVPSPORTS » Tue Feb 20, 2007 7:35 am

Okay... So I'm sittin at a table w/ the alltime worst/luckiest player of all time... He had about 10 hands where he called PFRes then called allin on the flop w/ middle pair, only to hit 2pr on the river to assrape AA... He did that about 100 times... he's also VERY aggro... I can't overestimate the amount of horribleness he is...

So, on to the hand...

like 3 limpers... I limp [7c] [7d] ... Doucheball limps.. About 5-6 to the flop of [Kd] [7h] [4s] ... Checks to me, I bet $12... Doucheball calls... Everyone else folds...

Turn [6s] ... I bet $45, but I'm like 10 Popov vodkas in (which are basically like drinking gasoline), and as I bet, my cards get stuck under my hand, and flip up as I make the bet... So, everyone sees my set, looks at me like i'm the biggest douchebag of all time... The guy, who is ever so aggressive, looks at me and goes "well, I guess I'm putting you allin then"...

So, the pot is like $80 or whatever, and he's puttin me in for about $450 more or so...

U...?????????

well, it's 53 or 85. I don't believe him on KK.

If you think he has one of those, fold. If he'll have those less than 2/3 of the time, call.

And slow down on the Popov... :)

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

If he views you as a drunken fish, who couldn't hold his cards, I doubt that he would try to make a second level play on you. I think that he fully expects you to call. So fold!

(From a game theretical point of view you should also fold like always here.)

For anyone who said "call", posting when drunk is against BTPs T&C.

This guy cant possibly dumb enough to try to bluff you off that hand after he saw it and you know he saw it. Fold, and consider yourself very lucky that this happened because you just saved alot of money.
