High quality chronic isn't cheap at all - but it is much better for you and probably won't make you aggressive/reckless like alcohol. However, drugs affect people differently and I know some people who smoke pot and turn into stereotypical moronic dimwits who couldn't play pokwer while stoned worth a damn.

Either way, it all comes down to whether you can handle your shit (whether it be weed, alcohol, whatever) and still play good poker.
