Just had one of those session where not only was I card dead, but the cards I did have, never hit. I had something like 20 PPs and only hit 1 set..not THAT bad I know, but it was a set on one of my first few hands so it felt like I missed everything after that. I also got outdrawn on a few times by flush draws completing and the such. My VPIP at 3 out of my 4 tables was <13%..and then for some reason my VPIP at the other tables was 21% anyway, i'm still up for the day so i'm happy =)

I've cleared 28,603.9 action points towards my bonus, got ~ 34k to go. Oh I also finally got reimbursed for $27.50 from Doyles Room from the bounty tournament over there, so that was a nice surprise. Speaking of nice surprises I should check to see if i've gotten any of my Heypoker bonus paid out, I cleared 1000VIP points there before leaving so i should be entitlted to something, the deal was that it paid out in increments of 100VIP lots or something. . *checks it* . . nope =\ damn, oh well.

Woot. Just had a very nice winning session, one table was just FULL of calling stations and i pretty much milked a couple of top pair hands for most of my winnings. I also got lucky in one case when my 99 hit a 9 on the turn after a J44 flop. I saw "mr jay" on one of my tables, he took me for a bit on a few hands actually, one at the end i had AK and called one of his raises, flop was AT4 or something and he bet, i should've raised but i just called..turn was a J and i bet, he raised me a little more than a minraise but all i could beat at that point was AQ so i folded..afterwards he told me he had JJ.

I walked into a friend's lecture today at uni and sat up the back playing poker, that was fun. Shortish session but i won a little and every bit helps =)

dear lord. i have 66, the flop is A96 in an unraised pot, 2 clubs are out there. Checked to me and i bet the pot, 1 caller. Turn is the 9 of clubs, checked to me and i bet 2/3 the pot, again a flat caller. River is a T, checked to me and i bet the pot, villian pushes all in for another $7, i call. He flips over T9. UGH. What's more painful is i'd just lost a fairly big pot, both of these were about $30 pots so i'm already down $60 10 minutes into the session. I really hope this turns around. Oh wait no..i just lost my nut straight to a rivered flush. Someone call variance and ask him to go easy on me for a bit please?

The only thing keeping me sane atm is that I got my 100 euro bonus from Heypoker, and i've withdrawn all my money from party and spent my 30k odd party points. This love/hate relationship with tribeca is very frustrating.

so i've made back 30, winning a few small pots here and there and playing well i feel, then this hand happens:

I limp with in EP, next guy limps and it's folded around to the BB who checks. Flop is 78T with 2 spades and the BB leads into me for $2, i re-raise to $9, EP limper folds and the BB calls. Turn is an 8, he checks and i bet $13 (pot is 16), he calls again. River is a 6, he checks and i check. He shows T9 for the rivered straight. I know in the long run he'll pay me off like three or four times over, but still, it gets to you sometimes.

77, flop is TJ7 and it's min-bet to me, i raise to $2.50 and he calls, turn is a T, i bet the pot, he calls, river is..you guessed it, another f***ING ten, he checks and i check behind to see how his J9 gave him a runner-runner FH.

limp with 78s, flop is 783..villian has 88, go figure =\
