I found myself on a very loose aggressive table tonight - not my usual cup of tea but I doubled up on my very first hand so stuck around for awhile to see what I could get from it. $10 NL on UB. About 30 minutes into this session another player came in that was playing VERY aggressive and winning a lot of pots with very large preflop raises and aggressive post flop play. He got to only a couple of showdowns so I was having a hard time getting a read on his starting card selection. The two I saw were both AJ. One time when I had pocket Queens I reraised him a pot sized bet after his 8x open and bet the pot on the flop. That talked him out of the pot.

Then this hand came up:

LnknPrkPlayer is at seat 0 with $4.80.
tm4realz is at seat 1 with $11.44.
Sunbob is at seat 2 with $26.03.
meanmarc is at seat 3 with $5.48.
hipkid is at seat 4 with $12.20.
bjTSR is at seat 5 with $3.49.
AtlantaSlim is at seat 6 with $7.40.
bigmac366 is at seat 7 with $9.80.
yankee in sc is at seat 8 with $6.75.
stsi_jqp is at seat 9 with $31.83. (Mr. Aggressive)
The button is at seat 4.

bjTSR posts the small blind of $.05.
AtlantaSlim posts the big blind of $.10.

Sunbob has Kd Ks 8d 5s 5d: two pair, kings and fives.
hipkid shows Ac Ah.
hipkid has Ac Ah 8d 5s 5d: two pair, aces and fives.

Hand #4372981-11124 Summary:

$1.50 is raked from a pot of $30.75.
hipkid wins $29.25 with two pair, aces and fives.

I think my biggest mistake was that my focus was on Mr Aggressive and I discounted the button's re- raise against my pot sized raise. I should have figured that had to mean AA but he had been pretty loose and so I don't know what I really thought.

Should I have just called? I think I probably would have bet the pot on the flop anyway and probably would have ended up all -in even after the flop.

Anyway - fire away guys. What do you think?

what to do

It does smell like aces with the minraise, but at this blind level, I think you gotta push preflop with KK, people overplay all kinds of hands at these stakes.
