Speaking of reporting people

What do you make of this?

2 guys at the same table with the names

Guardian1
Gardyone1

They play a hand where one has KK and one has QT and the flop is KJ9 and it somehow gets to the river with a pretty small pot even though it was raised preflop. Is it just me or does something smell really bad here?

That's pretty bad--I'd report that and let the site figure it out there.

I honestly believe that we need to be more proactive (as the honest community that we are) in reporting questionable things at sites. If something looks fishy, report it. All it can do is make the site safer to play.

I would err on the side of overreporting.

That being said, if the guy came up with two names like that and played at the same table, he's the dumbest guy alive.

Maybe catching Justin and JJ caused more of these nimrods to come out of the woodwork and try it, especially given that it was publicized that the site never actively pursued them--it took complaints to get anything done.

Think anyone would notice if I sat at a table with like 5 accounts using these names?

Imagine all the fun I would have trying to raise myself so many times to make it look as though there were no collusion!

As to Iceman's question, I definitely think there was collusion there 100%. And I would not hesitate reporting it 100% of the time. In fact, with such an obvious case, I would even follow up with them to see what they did about it just so they knew that I was serious.

Ice... I know online poker players are DUMB, but who's dumb enough to collude w/ 2 accounts with almost the exact same name..??? I mean, I'd still report him just to be safe, but I would imagine it was just a weird coincidence...

Can anyone spell C-O-L-U-S-S-I... Oh,never mind.

Anyway, this looks 100% dodgy and for the amount of time it takes to fire off an email with the HH, definitely report it. In the hand in question, did a 9 or A show up? If not, it's tough to see how that didn't end up all in.

I have the hand history number but wasnt sure who to call since Im playing on a PokerRoom skin. Do I email PR or the skin?

Another player did question him / them in the chat and he told me todaty that he did report it.

I didnt see all the action because I looked away at another table and only saw the the showdown hands and I saw what the fliop was and couldnt believe the action didnt go balaistic. Then I noticed the screen names. I had noticed they were similar earlier but until i saw this hand I didnt see that they were almost the same name just spelled differently.

I also dont have the hand in PT because of a bug Im trying to fix after I did a system restore.

Does anyone know if I can look the hand up somehow at PR by using the HH number?

There is a request hand history in the My Account section at PokerRoom. I don't know if you can get it if you were on a skin, but it is worth a try.
