The blinds were only 1/2 and $2 to limp in, and half of my opponents would chase with anything, so I try to maximize pots sometimes even if it will burn me in the end...is this a good play?

I have [Kc] in SB.

Six callers to me and I raise to $5(betting is normal after the PF limp, so raises are by 3 now). All call.

Flop is [6c][3c] ($35). I bet out, four callers.
Turn is . I check, BB bets out, call, fold, call, and I checkraise. Thoughts? I'm starting to think it's better to maximize pots when you have an amazing hand at low limit or when you have a good draw too...seems worth it for all the suckouts the other times.

I usually play the El D. and stay at the Silver Legacy. I hate that the poker room allows smoking on graveyard, so if I plan on playing past 2am I go to the Peppermill. In Nor Cal, the only place that I know that does a % rake is Jackson Rancheria, but it is 18+ so it is very laggy. Colusa used to take a % rake, but not any more. The Oaks used to do time collection for low limits, but now it is a ridiculous drop, and last time I was there they raked an uncalled bet, so I argued with the floor then I immediately cashed out and haven't been back.

I have done very nicely at the 3/6 and 4/8 games at the El D. Golden 1, you are too right. I've seen a hand where 1 guy bet the river with the board, one guy raised with the board and the original bettor called the raise...WITH THE BOARD. Board was KK66A too...

They don't care about what other people could have, just what they have. And that's why I love it...plus many other reasons.

EDad - thanks for the info...I've not the guts to get into that 4/8 game sadly...every time I go there, it's seven people in capped preflop hold'em. Sickos. Thanks for the infor on the Cali places. Cashe Creek is looking very nice nowadays. And when you drive up to Reno, there is a card place off highway 80 in Auburn at Foresthill and Bowman exits on the north side of the freeway. It's connected to a mexican restaurant and behind a gas station off the freeway not more than a block. They have NL tables going there and a normal crowd now, so if you feel like stopping on the way to Reno if you drive, it's not that bad.
