Keep grinding away. I'm going through a downswing too - flopped set vs straight, river 2-outers etc - and I'd welcome a few break even sessions like these!

Tuesday Feb. 21rst.

I made $129 on the tables. I played for 499 hands and got 7 sets. I am about to post on the BB section about the longest streak without winning a pot. The first 115 hands of this session I couldnt win one. Not even stealing. I was getting a bit desperate and stood up, had some water and thought to myself "You need to relax, Alex". I did that and a few minutes later I was dealt TT in a raised pot with a 99T flop :D . I got paid in a couple other and lost another few of mid sized pots. Very nice session anyway.

Bodog NL$100.
Hands: 499.
Won: $129.
Bonus: $22.

My entire BR is everywhere around....well, I lost $4.9 there is 88 hands. Cold carded all session. I played also in NL$25 in AbsolutePOker. 129 hands and didnt hit anything better than TPTK. Lost $3 there.

A positive note is that the games on AP are really soft. I cant remember the last time I saw so many huge pots won by A high and TPTK. I wont get into that , knowing I am losing EV, I dont want to play a high variance game. I am tilting too much. This started during my endless losing streak. I lost it and it is vital for this tables....That is why I am at about 3PTBB/100 and not near 10PTBB/100 as I used to be.....

Are you playing 6max or FR??? With the way you're variance has gone lately, I'm not sure if 6max craziness is the best thing for you...

MVP,

I am playing 6max because there are NO FR 0.5/1NL games at AP. The software is one of the ugliest in business, but the games are now crazier than ever. It looks like they select starting hands to be tight, but after they are in, they push with missed AK and TP a lot.

As I said in my previous post, I am not playing that game for max EV. I am playing 6max with almost the same hand requirements of FR, and the same strategy post flop. It s not like I am at 15-16% VP$IP but yesterday in 1054 hands I was at 21%, which is the tighest you can find at 6max. I was getting lots of action anyway. I think I'll stay there because lots of bonus and 100% rakeback while clearing it, it s just what I need to boost my hourly rate. Besides, the games are soft, really soft.

For the first time since I started playing semi pro I am considering quittting.

I have lost 428 on the tables on the last 3600 hands. What is worse is that all of it have been because I am permanently tilting. I dont know what is wrong with me. There is nothing I can do. I keep pushing AK on missed flops to be called by TP T, 7 kicker and that makes me tilt even more. I have tilted away more than 780 in these last 3600 hands. I lost my game during that endless losing streak and now I cant find it.

I have taken most of my bankroll to do something else that should be profitable and I enjoy. I only have 1700 left and I am still playing NL$100. If I go broke I dont think I will ever play. I dont see the point in playing if I am just feeling like crap even though I have been making some money.

Last month I made 1100+ with bonus and rakeback. On January I made almost 1900. Problem is I am feeling really stressed about everything bad that happens on the game and cant even follow my strategy because I cant control myself. At this point, I think I WANT to go broke and dont play anymore. As I said, the only thing stopping me from quitting is the money I have been making....We'll see what happens...
