Neteller account.

Postby briachek » Tue Feb 15, 2005 12:48 pm

Ok, I've been looking into getting a neteller account and just want to double check some things from someone that has it. I've went through the website but want to confirm some things.

1) Cost to make a deposit? (I would be doing it from my checking account)
2) Cost to withdraw? (back to the checking account)
3) Cost to transfer funds to poker sites?
4) Cost to just maintain account (monthly fee or anything)
5) Any other relevant info. This would basically just be a middle man between my bank account and poker sites so I can play mutliple sites and bonus whore.

Appreciate any info on it for this neteller noob.

To move from neteller to poker site then back to neteller to checking account is free. There is no monthly fee. I think it is also free to move from checking account to neteller but it has been so long I am not sure.

The fee's start when you want a check ect...

It is free to move from checking account to neteller if you are willing to wait a while -- several days. If you want the $$ to show up right away there's a charge of like 3% or so.

It is free to cash out from neteller back to your bank, though again that takes a couple of days. You can get a debit card that works at ATMs, but that apparently costs a LARGE chunk of change -- there's a % fee every time you withdraw, plus a monthly fee if you don't use the card during a given month.

so if its free to electronic transfer from my checking accoung/poker site/neteller and only charges when I actually want a check, where do they make money? Do they make enough off writing checks and I guess agreements with online sites to make it pretty much completely free for the customer? This just seemed too good to be true.

They charge a 9% processing fee, that most of the sites pick up.
