she ran a good race. 2nd and 3rd bumped and that allowed her to take a HUGE lead. there are two big jumps before the finish line. she decided to do a bit of flare on the next to last jump (grab and a little twist). she normally grabs on big jumps, but this was obviously a bit more showy than the others. she wipes out and second place takes home the grits. honestly, she was lucky to get silver.

Looks like the only one getting any endorsements from this Winter Olympics is Michelle Kwan, and she didn't even participate. Just goes to show how the Olympics have faded into obscurity.
Someone quickly name the swimmer who was supposed to win all those Golds in Sydney (I mean Athens, see can't even remember where the damned thing took place) and challenge Spitz (still remember his name though). Because I can't.

Being the good American that I am, I can proudly say that I haven't watched 1/2 of 1 second of the stupid olympics... I'll watch some men's hockey, as it generally kicks ass... But, other than THAT, meh...
