I drink Grey Goose on the rocks like people breathe... Not a big beer guy, but I guess I'll go with the very unpopular Miller Lite... Corona tastes a little too much like catpee for me...

Sam Adams, Guinness, and Miller lite.

Jameson and ginger ale, CC and 7, Beefeater and tonic with lime.

Miller Lite? WTF?

Beer: Anything from Caledonian Brewery in Edinburgh (Golden Promise and Deuchars IPA are my faves), Timothy Taylor's Landlord ale, Black Sheep ale, Nimbus from another small scottish brewery I forget the name of. Lager I like Peroni and Moretti from italy, Warsteiner from germeny, Corona isn't too bad, Grolsch is another favourite.

Other drinks: Good single malt Scotch whiskey when I'm in the right mood, mint juleps and daiquiris (iced and otherwise) as far as cocktails go, earl grey tea and lavazza red label coffee. Orange and papaya juice is quite nice too, recently been making it by whizzing up tinned papayas and OJ in the blender.

Redhouse, where exactly do you get tetleys and boddingtons in Cali? I live about 2 miles from the tetley brewery in Leeds. Boddingtons isn't very nice IMO, many better english ales on the market, though you might struggle to get them in america. Had some funny adverts on the tv a while back though. The only times I've had those sort of beers in the states they're not served properly, though I guess there will be some pubs that do them right. Best beers I've had in the states have been places that have done strongly flavoured light ale/european style lagers in US microbreweries. There was one in chicago I recall, originally from louisiana, called Abita. Very good stuff. The major US breweries i'm not too keen on, Miller and Bud seem to be mostly made from sugar and rat spit, though some of the non-budweiser Anheuser Busch "speciality" beers aren't too bad. I hear Yuengling is alright too but never tried it.

On the left coast of the US, we are blessed with very good micro-brewed beer, several world class grape growing regions including Napa, Sonoma, California central coast, Willamette valley in Oregon, and the Columbia river area in Washington. Furthermore, there has been a grape glut in the last few years, so the wine is cheap to boot.

However, our best advantage is our proximity to the state of Jalisco, Mexico, and the anejo tequila that comes from there. I'm not talking Jose Cuervo. Small batch estate tequilas, aged in oak. Mmmmmmm. And there is a direct from San Francisco airport to Guadalajara. Short drive to the town of Tequila from there. Mmmmmmm. Boy, am I getting thirsty.

To all the haters; Miller lite is a good cheap college beer that gets you drunk with the least flavor. I hate light beers yet when its time to get drunk and my wallet is thin helloooo miller.
