Opponent $250. I have him covered.

I'm deal [Kd] UTG+4. UTG min raises to $4 and UTG+1 calls. I reraise to $16 to try and isolate and protect myself. I was just hoping they fold since this was my last round at the table, at the end of my session. They both call the raise lol..didn't quite work.

Nice flop! UTG bets $10. UTG +1 finally folds. I decide just to call. Don't want to reveal my hand just yet...and I also have a wierd feeling he might be holding AA or KK.


TURN $68

I now have top two with the nut flush draw. UTG bets $30. I felt like I should still call here, make him lead into once more on the river. Plus I have a lot of nut cards I can hit on that river. Anyway, I decide to just go ahead and raise him to $90. It's $60 for him to call. He takes all the time alotted and folds. I win the pot and he leaves immediately after the hand.

So how did I play this? Should I have gone with my instinct and just called his turn bet? I'm thinking he must have had something like AQ or A4. I suppose it's possible he folded KK.....but that's a tough laydown. I did play like I held AA though. How about the flop..should I just have raised here?

I dunno. The more you guys post I'm think he may have held KK or AK. Usually (at least from what I've seen) people get pissed and leave the table immediately, when they hit a huge hand but have to fold. He waited his entire allotted time. It was not an easy fold for him.

If you were in his position...would you call AK, without a heart, to that raise? I've represented AA or KK throughout the hand, haven't I ?

You guys give horrible advice...if that guy is on a flush draw and hits it on the turn....this lengthy discussion of how to milk every penny from this guy goes moot and you are a 4-1 dog in winning the hand....

In 'not revealing the strength' of your hand, you gave him a cheap turn card to make his potential flush...crazy bad play...you are using the rationalization of the fish....."im in the best shape, so i am going to win the hand, lets milk it forgetting pot odds on draws"

Should have bet huge on the flop, give him bad calls for the flush draw....if he had KK or AA he'd probably reraise preflop, so more likely he is on a flush draw or has the weak kicker......i wouldn't risk losing a huge pot to get cute with the guy,.....

I usually agree with you here and I probably should have just raised the flop for value and to punish any draw. However, I was not worried about the flush.

This guy called a $16 reraise cold preflop after he raised with some kind of suited connector?? I kinda doubt that. I have the . Him holding two flush cards is very unlikely after such a strong preflop raise, since the and are already accounted for. [Jh] maybe....thats the only reasonable one i can think of.

That being said after looking at this hand again; I don't like my flop call at all.
