Opponent $250. I have him covered.
I'm deal
[Kd] UTG+4. UTG min raises to $4 and UTG+1 calls. I reraise to $16 to try and isolate and protect myself. I was just hoping they fold since this was my last round at the table, at the end of my session. They both call the raise FLOP $48
[Kh][4h]
Nice flop! UTG bets $10. UTG +1 finally folds. I decide just to call. Don't want to reveal my hand just yet...and I also have a wierd feeling he might be holding AA or KK.
TURN $68
[Kh][4h][8h]
I now have top two with the nut flush draw. UTG bets $30. I felt like I should still call here, make him lead into once more on the river. Plus I have a lot of nut cards I can hit on that river. Anyway, I decide to just go ahead and raise him to $90. It's $60 for him to call. He takes all the time alotted and folds. I win the pot and he leaves immediately after the hand.
So how did I play this? Should I have gone with my instinct and just called his turn bet? I'm thinking he must have had something like AQ or A4. I suppose it's possible he folded KK.....but that's a tough laydown. I did play like I held AA though. How about the flop..should I just have raised here?
thanks in advance!
