K3nt,
I hope you don't take my responses personally. I respect your posts because you look to find information and data to support your opinion.
We should all do that.
I don't think Bush is perfect or that the Iraq war is just a splendid victory. There are lots of things that went wrong and are going wrong. There are lots of things that were just not done well, such as what to do after Saddam fell (I honestly think they did not expect a military victory so quickly so they had been more focused on military campaigns than reconstruction).
However, I do believe that Bush/Blair's intentions have been in the right place from the beginning. I do believe that 90% of the hoopla written in the press about WMD, intelligence, etc. is emotional and not fact based. I think its partisan not interpretive.
Hating Bush and then looking for reasons to see conspiracy, lies, whatever is just stupid and irresponsible.
Hating Clinton/Democrats/Whatever and then looking for reasons to blame them for all ills is just stupid and irresponsible.
Domestic and international politics are ALWAYS a confluence of many sources. Its our short-sidedness to always want to give the credit/blame to one person.
Diatribe over.
