Overly aggressive?

Postby Drade » Fri Nov 11, 2005 2:26 pm

I'm at work so I don't have the hand history.

It's $.50/$1. I've got around $180 at the start of this hand, villain #1 has $22 and villain #2 has $80-ish. I'm the big stack at the table and have been fairly aggressive. #1 is horrid and only has $22 left from his $100 buy in. #2 has been pretty quiet.

I'm dealt [Ks] [Kc] in EP and raise to $5. #1 raises to $15 in MP, leaving $7 behind and #2 cold calls the $15 from the SB. I raise to $40, #1 calls all-in for $7 and #2 cold calls again. The flop was [6c] [6h] [2s] and #2 leads for $10, with $30-ish behind. The main pot is $67 and the side is $36. Push, call or fold?

I pushed.

Does #2 have AA? With all the action pre-flop, I think #2 would have pushed all in with AA. Reason is, by the time action got to him second time around, #1 was allready all-in, so no need to scare him off the flop. You've shown by now you love your hand, so he can't be scared on an all-in pushing you off the flop.

Would he call all that action twice with 66, A6s or some suited connector with a 6? My gues is QQ or the other KK. Push it. Nice to create a bigger side-pot in case #1 has AA, although i don't see why #1 wouldn't have pushed his measly 22$ first time around w/ AA.

no question its a push. If either have AA or a 6, oh well.

Clear push. If he has AA he played it nicely and there's no way for you to get away. Not for those stack sizes.
