7-handed top-two

Postby shobute » Wed Nov 09, 2005 1:38 am

2/4, table is starting to break and is down to 7.
I have $800, villain has me covered.

I've only been here 3 orbits.
He'd been playing semi-LAG at full ring. Generally sane.
I probably look tightish.

UTG makes it $15, UTG+1 calls, I call on button with AQ, villain calls in SB, and BB too.
Flop AQ3r.

Checked to me and I bet 35 just under half pot, only villain calls.
Turn is a 4 bring two diamonds.

He leads for 10. Huh?
I make it 90.
He minraises. Huh?
I call.

River is a 7 completing the flush.
He bets 4. I'm kinda freaked out, I have no idea what this means.
I call.

Please help me, I was mostly being wary of a set.
I'm wondering how I should revise my standards with 7 players.

Fold preflop.

Other than that, I just call river. When people play erratically like that it's usually a monster or a weird bluff, you won't make more money by raising then. My guess would be 33 for a set and he's block betting the river afraid of the flush.
