Well, it's not just IE that's the problem. The same jumping up and down happens with Outlook and even in the chat box on FTP. Very weird.

CJ: To get back on topic, as cougar suggested you might well have a worm or a virus.

Do you have antivirus software? Are your virus database files up-to-date?

You need to run a full and deep system scan to identify any nasties.
