And to think my wife said this poker stuff would never pay off.

Just about 5 minutes ago, I was on a $100 PLO8 table at Party that had hand number 299500000 (not sure on the # of zeroes). I didn't win the hand, but I do get to split 22k with 9 other lucky bastards.

I LOVE PLAY POKAH!!!!!!!!!!

I screwed up, we split half of 75k 9 ways, so $4k or so I guess. We're not sure since it was a split pot if the guy who took high gets all 37.5k, or if that gets split, in which case its 37.5k split 8 ways for the rest of us.

Who cares at this point, woohooo!!!!

BTW, look at the history, I would have won the hand had I stayed in. Oh well.

my plan of action was to raise until i ran out of money, hoping i could win without showdown.

My plan - I'm seeing a showdown with 72o if need be. Of course, I play limit, so I wouldn't run out of money, but you've got great pot odds (with the extra 37.5K thrown into the pot, of course)

Yeah, I really don't want to stare a gift horse in the mouth.

Weird thing is, the hand I had (Td Jh Qh 3c) is the type of hand I will play about 75% of the time, in LP, but I had just had a flopped set of 9s sucked out by a runner runner wheel, and a non-protected str8 sucked out by a rivered flush, so I was a little leery of getting involved in another semi-weak hand.

Either way, I ain't complaining. Time to order some BTP logo gear. :D

Well, I finally got the bonus deposited in my account from Party, but it looks like they screwed up.

The hand was split between the 2 players, which, according to their promo website means that those 2 should equally split 37,500, and the rest of the table splits the other 37,500. Party only gave me 1/9th of 37,500 tho (4167) instead of 1/8th (4687), so I am guessing that they gave the entire 37500 to the guy that took the high side of the pot, which to me is bullshit on a split pot table.

I sent them a support email, it will be interesting to see how they handle it.
