*** FLOP *** [Kh] [2d] [Th]

No raise preflop so AK most likely not out. Two hearts on the flop so there could be a heart draw out. Question? So far I have spent $0.25 on this hand. Is it worth a bet here? Yes.

AlamedaMike bets $3
Brando012 folds
roughneck10 raises to $6 - damn mini-raise. Humm, King Queen or King Ten? Ace King should have raised.
PacMan10 folds
font5 calls $6 - cold call - most likely a [h] draw.
PokerDude 20817 folds

My turn to act. If I have the best hand I should raise. No, I don't think so. That leaves Fold or Call? Odds to hit my second pair are long - if I can not riase then I should fold here.

Recommendations?

Actually I called - which I think in retrospect was a bad move.

The Turn was a [Ts]. It was checked around.

The River was a [8d].

That is all she wrote. I was OOP. If I bet he calls with any hand other than K 9-2. I check, he bets $10, we fold.

I would lose to AK, KQ, KT and tie KJ. I do not think he would raise me with K9.

Thanks - the sunk cost of playing the hand has nothing to do with anything as you said. it is just a way to keep track of how I am doing. What is in the pot is not mine anymore.

I played KJ in the sb and hit the flop. You are right - a bet is in order. A mini-raise, I think was asking me if I had AK or KT. I said no with my call.

However, a tricky player would smooth call with KT :D so as not to give his hand away.

A bet on the Turn might have won the pot for me. We will never know now. I will try that sometime and see if it works.

Thanks again. My game is improving, albeit slowly.
