I don't call here too often. I think he's got Queens.

I didn't think queens, a huge overbet like that didn't make sense for queens, if he had queens he would want to keep me around, or so I thought.

In a hand with no real action and having a medium pair, I could see the SB raising with 88 or 99 and of course QQ. But some people like to push around in the blinds when it's pretty close to heads up and he might have some type of weaker hand. Tough, but I still think I lay it down unless you have a read on him that suggests some maniacal tendencies. I would have to have some experience with how he played before I make that call.

Nobody thinks he could have the nut flush draw? The Hero doesn't have the [Ad] so AKs or AQs is a possibility. Those and QQ make the most sense. I have a hard time folding AA when I have re-raised preflop so I probably make this call as well. At least I beat AK, AQ and KK and the pot odds aren't THAT horrible.

ok
well I think in the end me calling this really is a mistake. I sometimes have a hard time with laying down an overpair on a non-coordinated board. This is actually worse since it is an overpair on a scary board

I thought that if he had hit his hand already he wouldn't push me all in just yet, so I thought I was ahead. I expected to see the nut flush draw

however he turned over KK and I won the hand, but in the end I guess it makes sense, he was trying to get me out of that pot, but I don't think I should make a habit of calling these bets
