I have no clue how to play shorthanded

$100 NL at Bodog.

A 9-haned table but it just went down to 4 of us playing. I'm planning on quitting as soon as the blinds get to me, because I hate playing this short.

But now I get [As][Ks] on the button. UTG limps, I raise, blinds fold, UTG now re-raises, but not very big. (I think I raised to $5, he reraised to $12). UTG has about $75, and I have him covered.

OK. What do I do about this? A limp-raise? 4-handed? WTF!?

UTG is decent, hasn't done anything incredibly stupid. But with just 4 people, I figure that a limp-raise could just mean he doesn't think my raise means much of anything. Do people limp-raise AA 4-handed? I have no idea. I am confused and flat call.

$24 pot, give or take.

Flop is A73 rainbow. He bets about $4, I raise to about $12, he reraises to about $25. I don't think any of our raises were minraises, but his flop bet was quite small and the raises were not huge either.

So the pot is about $60, it's about $13 to call, and he has about $40 left behind.

Do I give him credit for AA and fold? Or ...?

I very rarely say this - but I think this guy is full of shit. I flat call and then shove the turn. He's going to have to show me AA here.

I would say that at $100NL, and ESPECIALLY at Bodog, this guy could easily be raising AK,AQ,AJ, maybe AT, and would be pushin it the whole way... I think there are a LOT more hands you're ahead of than the ones you're behind... I'd call...

I think you have to see TPTK to the end here. If you don't get it all in now, get it all in on the turn if he leads again.

I can't fold TPTK 4-handed there, if he has AA that's it. I try to get the money in the middle, best way might be just calling and getting all-in on the turn. On bodog he could have any A, TT-KK, which you all beat.

Thanks all so much for your replies!

I pushed all-in on the flop and he called with ... yes ... AA.

One guy at the table mocked me after I whined about it. (I only made one whiny comment, then I shut up.) But I've been kicking myself ever since. But if you guys all thought it was a reasonable play, that helps my mental state a lot. Thanks.
