NL$100: They suck but they are killing me!!

Postby AlexMR » Sat Oct 29, 2005 11:08 pm

Well. I cant belive my previous post was to talk about a great winning streak. Today I have lost near four buy ins in another attempt at NL$100. Here are a few hands:
.

Hand 1.

I am on the CO and I am dealt AA. I have 140. Three limpers to me and I raise to 3.5. One maniac with $160 calls.

Flop comes 4 - Q - 6 rainbow. He bets 7 and i raised all in.

He almost dont have time to act and and finally calls with KQ. He turned another Q and stacked me.

Hand2.

A guy who cant stop talking and whining because he feels so good (but in fact sucks) raises to 4 after what he called a badbeat. I have KK and re-raised to 18 and he insta-pushed. I called. He flipped 33 and turned the set. Stacks were full.

Hand3.

I am dealt 77 in MP. I limp after the player to my right. The CO raises to $3. BB calls and I called.

Flop ($12). 2 - 3 - 7. Two were diamonds. EP checks, I bet $6. CO raises to $40

 Good. He should have KK or AA and dont know what button to press to fold them. I reraised him all in and he calls with TT. Of course he turned the third T. and cleaned me up for another full stack.

I have to admit that I donated the last of the four buy ins I lost. I cant remember the last time I was tilting. I think it was....more than three month ago. it´s the second time I try to play the NL$100 with the same results. Bad beats and badbeats.

It was like that when I moved up to NL$50: I went through the worse bad run of my poker carreer: 7K+ hands losing and after that 2.5K+ breaking even.

Any supersticious fellow BTPer willing to explain this to me?

Is it possible that anyone has to comment anything on these 3 hands?

Hand 1: Your raise is not big enough for three limpers to you. Should be 6+. On the flop, why are you pushing? Sure he's a maniac, but you'll be safer and more profitable if you bet more sane amounts (bet the pot or so). He did call with a dominated hand, however in many cases he would fold. Or call if he did hit a set.

Other hands: nothing to say.
