Postby T-Rod » Thu Oct 27, 2005 10:13 pm

6-max 50NL. Villain is very aggressive 59% VPIP ans 34.5% raise He has a full stack and I have him covered.

I"m in SB with K[c] K[h].

Villain raises $2 in CO
Button who is a LP calls$2

I pop it to $8 (16BBs). Villain calls and Button calls.

Flop J[c] 5[s] 9[s]. (pot $24.5). I check. Villain bets $12. Button folds.

What's your play? Villain has $21 more left.

Sounds like a run of bad cards, keep putting it in with the best hand, it will change.

Greggabe... your words could exactly describe my run. Consistently loosing with the best hand or stuff like set over set or flopped set vs flopped straight all for about 12 buyins.

It's funny how the mind moves from "variance" to "cursed" after a while.

I think its the poker god "Gamblor" testing me!!

Let me say this. I had dinner with Tim the other night and he is taking this horrific streak much better than I could / would. Maybe I'll change his luck next week. We're going to a new poker room thats fairly close to play live together.

Or maybe I'll outdraw him
