scrapple is just a sophisticated form of head cheese, right?

man, when i lived in west philly, i always tripped out when somebody would order like 2lbs of the stuff at the deli. definitely a good reason to skip the deli counter that day -- i don't want any of my meat touching the same blade as that nasty stuff.

I was talking w/ my mother today about old times on the farm. She said one of her favorite memories was during scrapple making, while scraping intestines, she picked up a severed pigs tail and chased her older sister (my aunt) all over the place while said sister was shrieking. Oh, well, she told the story funnier than I did.

My son wanted to meet for dinner after work today. He picked IHOP as the place of choice.
