I think that in general the Check Raise does not work in NL as much as it does in Limit.

True - I tried to check raise 2 times today in NL and both times it was checked behind me.

It just seems when you are OOP and check with the intention of raising in NL it does not work as much as in limit. In limit there are only so many opportunities to get money in the pot so if you miss a bet on the Turn you lose money. Therefore, players in limit might bet after you check more so than NL.

The other hand I did not post. He had KK and I was in the blinds with and called a mini-raise OOP. I got a straight on Turn and went for a CR and he checked behind me. The River double paired the board and I could not safely bet.

That is what I mean - more of a strategy question.

Bet'em if you have 'em and do not get tricky at NL50 - NL100 with a CR attempt.
