Set of Tens Flop Decision

Postby T-Rod » Mon Oct 24, 2005 8:38 pm

Villain is a total CS. I lost a stack earlier to him where he called large bets on every street with 77 only to hit his 7 on the river. I've also seem him call all ins with TPTK.

Empire $100NL (6 max, 6 handed)

Hero ($99.50)
SB ($134.50)
BB ($128.20)
UTG ($120.73)
MP ($155.45)
CO ($163.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with [Td], [Ts]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
1 fold, MP raises to $4, 1 fold, Hero calls $4, SB (poster) calls $3.50, 1 fold.

Flop: ($13) [Ah], [Qc], [Th] (3 players)
SB bets $10, MP folds, Hero ????

The board couldnt be more coordinated and villain most likely has 2 pair or a pair and draw. He will call all in...so oblige him.

Hm, I would just call the flop to wait until the turn. Sorry, iceman

He is a calling station who bets full pot on the flop. This means he has something. I would be afraid of KJ. If a blank hits on turn and he bets full pot again I would strongly consider folding.
If a blank hits and he checks I would put him on a draw and then bet the pot myself.
