Slowdown here?

Postby MVPSPORTS » Sat Oct 22, 2005 4:36 pm

This guy had a post flop aggression of like 5... He just kept smellin like a set or a made flush, and was just tryin to milk me into raising him, ESPECIALLY after I raised the flop and he called real slowly... Does anyone bet this turn or raise the river?

People that do that min bet stuff make my head hurt. I just dont get it.....I guess thats why they do it. I would not raise the river...there is a possible flush and a straight out there....I think you need to define your hand on the turn so that the river is not as important.

As for the turn, I might raise the turn to get info if he really has a flush or not. If he reraises or even just calls, I would slow down. Best case: he folds or you spike a heart on the river.

I think one of the reasons I DID only call the turn was cause I thought there was a pretty good chance he already had the flush and/or straight, and was hopin the 4th heart would peel off the river for me...

Not saying that is right or wrong thinking... Just what I was thinking...
