What do we think of this one boys?

Live $200 NL.

6-handed, late in the night.

Villian in the hand is a PLAYER, he has worked his stack up to well over $500 probably closer to 600. Needless to say he has me covered, I have about $450.

I get T[d] 8[d] in BB.

It's folded to the Villian(button) makes a weak raise to $5. folded to the SB who calls, I also come along.

Flop: T[h] 8[s] 4[h]

SB checks, I bet the pot. ($15) Villian comes back over the top for $50 more, SB folds, I call.

My thinking here, I have top 2 he min-raises big pairs all the time I wanted to get a lot of money in on the turn barring an A K or Q. But if one of those came off, I wanted to get away from the hand without having too much invested. Is this a good line?

Turn: 3[s], this is about as big of a brick as I could have hoped for. I check, I know he's going to fire for me and I can come back over the top. I rarely check raise but this guy is UBER-aggressive and he will bet, and then be kind of offended by my CR. I think it might all go in here if I check raise.

I check, Villian bets $125, I raise All- in. Villian, without hesitation, calls.

River: T[s] HALLELUJAH!

He shows 44 for a smaller boat.

Man am I lucky.

What do you guys think about these thought processes though, I am trying to be more analytical and think one, if not several steps ahead. I feel like I played this hand well, even if I lost I would have felt that I played it well, as he has JJ-AA, as often(if not more often) than he has a set there.

it looks good to me. He played his set hard, which is not normal. I probably would have played it exactly the same.
