Did I play this right or overplay it? Opponent is loose (40) and average aggression (1.5-2).

I would've just checked the river. May have hit his flush, may have had an 8, etc. Just my opinion. What happened?

I raise preflop in that position and do not go all in on the river when the flush hits. I do like your flop raise and turn raise but limping in lp with AKs is not the best play IMO.

The standard line is to make a value bet here of about 1/2 pot.

But if you have reason to think he'd interpret your push as a bluff and call you with a weaker hand, then by all means I think it's a good idea.

Either way, if you do decide to value bet the river if he pushes I think you have to call, the odds you'd be getting are too good to fold.
