2/4
Sometimes it's downright scary how good my notes are. This is why I'm so happy PT isn't available on here.
Dealt KK in EP. One limper, I raise to $20. two limpers call.
FLOP$66
Q74 rainbow
First limper checks, I bet $50. Second guy folds, the first limper calls.
My read/notes on this player are as follows:
I've watched him for the past hour. If he hits a flop, he will call down with any one pair. If he raises or bets out, that means he hit something very good. The shorter version: A big calling station who only gets aggressive w/ the nuts.
TURN $166
Q74T rainbow
I've seen better turn cards, but I've seen worse too. Opponent checks. I thought about pushing (he had $202 left), but even though this guy is a station, I didn't wanna scare him off. I figure I'm way ahead. I bet $100. Opponent calls.
RIVER $$366
Q74TA
Opponent checks with $102 left in his stack. I almost don't bet, but I feel like he would have bet out in front with two pair or if he hit the ace. I put him in, he thinks awhile and finally calls.
RESULTS
Opponent has 88, a pair of 8's.
Kenny wins $567 pot.
I'm a big supporter of notes and reads. This hand would not have been maximized for profit, if I didn't have my notes in front of me, telling me to bet each street.
