You may or may not know, but our very own iceman5 is in fact a cop!

He used to post 'war stories' from his adventures as a patrol officer on another poker forum (before BTP was founded, obviously!) and got so much interest we decided to host them here under the tenuously poker related pun 'The Bad Beat'.

I think they rock. I would post some of my old war stories but I can only imagine that hilarious anecdotes of diagnostic lab sample mix-ups would have a fairly limited popular appeal.

Very interesting story. As I was reading the story I was just thinking to myself how terrible Mr. Kidnapper's Poker Face must be.
