20/2 limit sng

I didnt bet this river because in the heat of the moment I figured that if i was beat by a flush then 2 bets would have crippled me too much to make a comeback.

But afterwards i kinda figured that was a stupid check on the river.

What do u think?

bet the river, i don't think the Button raises you on the turn with a flush draw. he either has a pair of Aces or is holding a 6

This being a tourney, and you needing to keep an eye towards stack protection, I think your river check is fine. He's raised you both the last 2 rounds anyway, what makes you think he wouldn't do it a 3rd time? If he was on a flush draw, you saved yourself a BB. If he didn't have a flush, take your nice pot and be happy about it. End of tourney is what's important here, not maximizing one particular pot by risking more of your stack.
Of course, in a cash game this could go the other way.

I bet the river. I don't put him on the flush at all because I don't think he is going to be willing to risk a good lead on you HU by raising on the turn with a flush draw. To me this smells alot like 2 pair. I continue betting the river with confidence that I have the best hand. You have already put in 2700 of your chips if I am calculating correctly. I go ahead and go for broke right now and try to extract that extra bet rather than leaving it on the table as I have already short stacked myself.

While I dont feel it was a huge mistake, I do think the better play was to have bet this river. Oh well, finished second for 32$ profit.
