i figured afterward that my re-raise was a bit low, 7 or 8 would have been better ,would you agree with leading the flop? I put him on QQ or AK and folded.

You totally overbet the flop - bet 2/3 pot and see what happens.

I recognize that name. I've played 378 hands w/kurvajoba.

Kurva is 11% VP$IP, 1.2% PFR (yes, one point two!), WTSD 7%, Won$atSD: 75%, +$32 over 378 hands. Wow, what a rock.

My guess is that Kurva had Jacks here and bailed when 2 over cards flopped killing his pair and not wanting to chase the set or broadway outs.

I think I might check this flop and perhaps checkraise depending on my read on his flop bet.

I think you are either way ahead or way behind. So if you bet and get raised, well it's time to fold for sure. However, if he plays his hand scared, then you know you're KK is good.

Just a different thought. Betting the flop and folding to a raise is fine too, but usually the other guy has an Ace here.

I always reraise at least 3x the original raise. With only 1 limper in EP, probably 3x the raise. On the flop I don't think I would bet out against 2 players, check and if you see too much aggression you can fold easily. You only have 2 outs, so...

Trodgers, I really like your avatar :)

Hey, you really DO look like the "Supersize Me" guy. Hadn't thought of that. Your GF looks hotter than his though.

Anyway... I think it's been said. You need to re-raise bigger preflop, and when you get raised on the flop you have to fold. It's not even a hard fold since there is absolutely no hand that you beat. I'd make the preflop raise to at least $8 or so, more if I think he has trouble folding.
