no, i like to bet. checking seems suspicious. He didn't have much or you would have gotten something out of him. I bet that flop pretty much everytime unless i know the opponent will always try to steal the pot if I check.

These hands happen all the time. It is hard to get paid off when you slaughter the flop. Bet and hope he makes a move on you with a Q or an A or trying to represent a hand.

You don't know what he had, could have been 87s and no way he's betting even a penny no matter what. Don't worry about it.

Sometimes the problem with a flop that good for your hand is its shuts out your opponant. He has to get some part of the flop in order to call you. He likely got no part of the flop and had no reason to continue. To win a big hand your opponant has to get something that makes him feel that he has a better hand than you or at least a draw.
