Yes, I know this is a weak PFR, but even if I'd gone something like 4x BB, my pocket 7s would still call.

Bad betting increments here. Yes I know. He teased me with the $9 and I tried to get cute. If I'd only called him here and then check/folded to a scary bet on the end could I have gotten away from this crappy hand. Damn I hate KT.

River: ($47) [3h] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $47

Results in white below:
Hero has Kd Td (one pair, kings).
Button has 7s 7h (three of a kind, sevens).

What a beating. I'm going to bed...

Yep some bad luck there, but atleast hand #1 you should be able to get away from since it smelled of two pair, and also you would save money if you don't play K 10 at all from that position and even more so, don't raise with it.

Hand #1: His only "mistake" was calling your preflop raise (and perhaps not worrying about KK or QQ on that flop, but the would both be case...). But he got paid off, so it's not easy to call his play a mistake...

Hand #2: Bad beat.

Hand #3: I think you're behind on the flop when he calls your pot-sized bet. If you played more cautiously you might be able to save some money... In particular, don't push the turn. If you get a free card and it's not a club, then just try to showdown for cheap. If it is a club you're losing your money.

Hand #4: To quote iceman: "Do me a personal favor. Never make a minimum raise preflop again. Please?" Drop that hand in early position.

Yes yes yes, I know KT= death from EP. I shock my friends when I lay that down. They seem to forget that tidbit as I'm raking their money towards me later in the evening. But I was getting no action and decided to dip my feet in the water and try to steal a pot with a small raise. Serves me right for losing my patience and deviating from what works...
