Damn that Steeler / Jet game was a nail biter. I think I lost 2 years of my life watching that game.

Rothlesburger finally looked like a rookie and if he plays like that next week its all over, but the rest of the team looked pretty damned good. I mean the Jets only scored 3 points on offense. I dont know what Big Ben was doing on the INT that got returned for a TD but Randel El was wide open for an easy TD. That game shouldve been a blow out but they just kept self destructing. 2 INTs, a crucial fumble, and a punt return given up for a TD. Those plays will kill you in the playoffs.

I hope they got it out of their system because next week is the big one. I still hope its INDY. I think the Steeler defense will shut down Manning. (well, at least slow him down)

Congrads IceMan! I didn't get to watch it but it sounded like a good game. I lot better then the falcons and rams. I took the Jets and the points so I'm happy. I still havn't decided what to do with Indy. They are getting 1 1/2. I am going to see what the weather is doing tomorrow. The viking are getting 8 so I may take them but again the weather is gong to be the kicker.

Yeah I think it was just a matter of time before Big Ben had a game like this, he has been awsome but he is a rookie and at some point in time he was going to have a bad game. I think it is good for them that he got it out of his system against a team like the Jets, that the defense could play well and give them a chance to still win. I think he will bounce back next week and have another solid game. Still damn impressive for a rookie QB. Anyways how is it that a Texas police officer is a Steelers fan? Shouldn't you be shaking your head like the rest of Texas about the bad season the Boys had?

Steelers stole that one. They didn't look all that good on offense. They better get it going if they want to beat NE/Indy.

On another note, I'm getting killed this weekend. Lost a couple hundred on the ATL/STL game and now the Philly/Vikins game. Grrr....

Roethlisberger made some dumb mistakes but Pitt had 364 yards to the Jets 275.

The Steelers turned it over in the red zone twice or it wouldve been a blowout. Other than the turnovers I thought they looked pretty good on offense and dominating on defense.

Youre right though, if they turn it over against Indy or NE they will lose.
