Wasn't sure about this play any thoughts would be great. No real reads on villain. Table is only 6 handed and about to break up.

Pokerstars NL hold-em, $.02 BB (9 handed)

UTG ($5.13)
UTG+1($2.43)
MP1($3.31)
Button($4.39)
SB($1.85)
BB($3.09)

Preflop: I"m on the Button with [Th] [9h]
UTG limps, UTG+1 folds, MP1 limps, I limp,SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($.10) [Jh] [Kh] [8d] (5 Players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP1 bets $.08, I raise to $.20, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds, MP1 raises to $.54, I raise to $4.37 (all in), MP1 calls.

I've only got about ten thousand hands all together. Just wondering if someone with more experience makes a different play.

Your original raise should be bigger. When it gets to you, the pot is .18. I would raise to around .30

Either way though, I have no problem getting all in here.

This play is right on. Unless your opponant has a set you are ahead as much as 60/40 but more likely 55/45. Running into AQh would really suck.

Hey everyone thanks for the quick replies. I was just curious why iceman thought the original raise should be larger.
