Slowplay this one??

Postby 80Proof » Wed Sep 28, 2005 4:23 pm

Here is an interesting hand that I was unsure if I played correctly......

No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (7 handed)

saw flop|saw showdown

80 ($51.30)
BB ($49.50)
UTG ($71.30)
MP1 ($26.20)
MP2 ($18.70)
CO ($43)
Button ($56.30)

Preflop: 80 is SB with [2h], [2c].
1 fold, MP1 calls $0.50, 3 folds, 80 completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.50) [2s], [Kd], [Jh] (3 players)
80 checks, BB checks, MP1 bets $1.5, 80 calls $1.50, BB folds.

Turn: ($4.50) [6d] (2 players)
80 checks, MP1 bets $3, 80 calls $3.

River: ($10.50) [Kc] (2 players)
80 bets $5, MP1 calls $5.

Final Pot: $20.50

Results in white below:
80 has 2h 2c (full house, twos full of kings).
MP1 has 6h Ad (two pair, kings and sixes).
Outcome: 80 wins $20.50.

Nothing very scary out there so I didnt push back at all....he was a typical LAG and I knew if I kept checking he would keep betting. On the river I figured if he had a King he would reraise me so I led out but oh well. Anyone play this differently??
