1. I raise to $15, possibly more... you are most likely winning against a straight, trips, or a lower flush.

2. I fold. In my experience, when they move all-in like that on the river (after small bets and calls), they have some type of monster.

BTW, dont like your call on the turn in hand #2. You have a 1 in 5 chance to hit, but he's giving you 3:1. Youre out of position, so there's no gaurentte you'll win enough to cover, and since the board is paired it makes your hand that much worse. I lay it down or raise. Probably the former.

The reason I posted them is that I feel I played both wrong so keep the critisism coming.

Hand #1, you're not afraid of the A high flush or the slowplayed boat? The guy cold-calling a bet and a raise on this board?

I'm afriad of course...I always am when I don't have the nuts. :) that being said..his hand selection is so wide here, I think you need to put in a raise for value. Now do you call an all-in reraise? Depends on what kind of odds you're getting, and you'd have to be getting some really good odds with him showing that much strength.

Hand 1: With this action, I probly just call on the end, but then again, I'm weak. But I don't think it's that bad a play, because this guy could easily re-raise you all in with just a $10 if he plays like most idiots and you probly won't be able to make that call.

Hand 2: I fold without a second thought, and I don't make the call on the turn.

Hand 1, I would probably just call. If you raise a lot of people will only call with Ahigh flush or better.

Hand 2 is a clear fold. You don't even have a good flush. Let it go in case you don't have a very good read there.

hand #1 he flipped over T6o for the trips. I think Kenny is right about raising for value here but I really don't feel comfortable folding if he pushes... I guess I'm a wuss and pick the low-variance route that is less +EV. :?

Hand #2 I agree, I probably should have folded the turn since the board is paired and I could be drawing dead. I think that's the main reason to fold though, not that I don't get proper odds, my hand is relatively disguised and implied odds should make up for it. I was actually planning to check/raise the river... I ended up folding, because as Kenny says, they usually have a monster here. I checked the HH and he had K3o for a very weird and stupid bluff, then again, it worked. He left the table immediatly so I couldn't get my money back (and I was a bit pissed since I usually make this call and look like an idiot, then pick THIS time to fold...).
