Opponent has been rather loose and we both have even stacks

I am dealt AhAd in LP and raise to $4 and get called by 1 early limper

Flop: ($9.50) 10h 6h 2h
EP bets $1 and I raise pot and he calls

Turn: Ks
EP bets $1 again

He either has the flush and wants me to raise again or has something like Kh and wants to draw cheap
Thoughts?

i think i just call and decide what to do on the river. This fishy move means different things depending on the fish. He might have KT with Kh. I just call and hope he keeps the river cheap if it doesn't complete the flush.

When I see those 1 bets on each street it seems like:

75% its a blocking bet and a very bad one at that. And they usually call you're raise.

25% Made hand looking for you to blast them so they can reraise.


They often confuse me. I

w/ the , i raise that baby to $10 or so as sort of a value raise that i want him to call. i'm not afraid of his hand here; i don't think he plays a flush, two pair, or a set like that...except for maybe the -flush. i think he's trying to confuse you and keep the pot small.

I raise him. Makes him pay for the draw, plus you can check the river behind in most cases.

This is almost always a blocking bet.

I did just call the small turn bet and called another small bet on the river. He did flop a flush. Crap!

So that's his loss. You got to draw to your nut flush cheaply and show down what might have been the best hand without risking much money. I don't mind losing a little to cracked aces. It sure beats losing a lot.

that's why i just call the second one because i've seen that play often. They are afraid to scare you away so they bet the min or small. I do see it the other way as a blocking bet but since you have an overpair and the nut draw, its unlikely he's got something beating you or something you don't have a draw to. Calling get him to bluff again on river (normally small) and gives you a cheap card too. I've seen people fold to raises on turn so calling keeps it cheap if you are behind and can earn you more money if you are ahead and he bluffs again.

too small bet for a stoping bet , it's just seems so stuid to bet 1 , I don't know man , make a note for next time
