Okay, so I was 5 tabling, including one PLO game where I was being savagely berated by Briachek and TW... So, my reads were kinda screwy... But, I had about 200 hands on this guy, and hadn't seen him do anything TOO out of the way... He was about a 20% VPIP and 6% PFR... What do you guys do here...?

....moves all-in. This guy's stack is huge, he wants to push people around and play boss, all the more reason to not believe he has a set here, I put him on 99 or TT.

I let this one go :( to the 3x reraise almost all the time. If you have a read that he plays a draw or QQ-99 then smooth calling and getting it all in on another street is better. You should have some sort of read on this guy unless you are new at the table... what have you seen him show down in big pots before?

It depends on how aggressive he is. If you think he's playing an overpair like this then rdale is right and you should smooth call and try get it all in on a later street. It's a fold/call decision and i'm leaning more towards folding - without a read. He might have 55 put you don't know enough to put him on that. His VPIP suggests he might have 56s or something but that's just another reason to fold. If he's overly aggressive I call but without a read, i'm folding here.

20/6 guy limps up front, calls your raise. how often does he have 22/33/44/AA here?

enough to fold. :x

I also put him on 22/33/44. MAYBE 55. Not AA/QQ/JJ because those he'll raise preflop, since he wasn't in EP and there were callers in front of him.

Only other possibility is that he thinks you're bluffing AK and wants to see if his 99-66 is good. In that case he'll lay down to a reraise. But it'll cost your stack to find out.

Fold it, I guess.

If he has a good win rate I will fold it. Most good players will not check-raise you with crap here (mid pair).

Like I said, I hadn't seen him do anything out of the ordinary, and he WAS a winning player in my DB over 200 hands... PLUS the fact that he was up 2 stacks or whatever I guess means that he is at least OKAY...

One of my biggest holes is overplaying single pair hands, and I think I'll take a little weak/tightness if it means I don't lose a stack I didn't need to...

BTW... He said "nice fold", for whatever the crap THAT is worth...

I'm more and more moving toward weak/tight lately and happy with the results so far. I'm folding the best hand more often and going to SD with the second-best hand less often.

i thought you said you both had double stacks? Since you don't, its all in or fold. If you had a double stack or more, you could try a reraise and fold to his all in. However, as i told you, i believe his limp call of your raise preflop was a likely PP so could have a set or 55. The only other real option is he like suited connectors and flop a straight or 2 pair or he's just testing you with 66-99. I fold because i'm a wuss that hates variance.
