I'm shocked you folded Hand #1 lotta. Small pairs are very valuable in raised pots. Though you were out of position, you stood to win a stack if the guy has an overpair and you hit.

Though, you really should have a full stack in front of you to make these hands as profitable as possible.

Agree with kenny.

I have NEVER folded a small pair preflop out of fear of being set-over-setted. They're only folded when someone's preflop raise is too big to call profitably.

I flopped a set of 4's from EP this morning in an unraised pot on bodog NL50. I bet $2 on the flop and got two callers.

Flop [Qs] [6s] [4d]

The Turn put down a [3h] - I bet $8 into $7.50 pot and I was not sure if I wanted a call or not.

The would only call with a very good draw or if they could beat me. :D

The two players folded which is just fine with me.
