I really think KJo is almost a "must play for a limp" in MP or LP. The great thing about it vs. 65 is that it hits very often. TP is also usually good.

I also think 65o is playable only under exceptional circumstances. VPIP of 14% isn't insanely tight imo, although you can play a little more.

Basically, I think all of these decent TP-type hands are for keeping up with the blinds. You really want to just take it down on the flop when you hit, but you'll also get some station-ish players on draws that usually miss and will pay you off through the turn, too. You just have to be able to bet it healthily and lay it down when you're beat...

OK, I've thot more about it.

65o sucks. But I think that limping 65s and the like in MP (at least after one or more limpers) is OK. Even calling a smallish raise from LP/blinds will be OK.
But limping KJo, you just have to fold it if there's a decent raise. AJ for a limp will play much better post-flop, as will KQ in unraised pots.

Now I'm thinking the following be good for a limp:

MP
all small-mid PP's
AJ

Fold AJ to a raise of +3BB, call with pp's using 5/10 rule (or what fits the raisor)

with 1 limper already in:
add KQ, and SC >=54s, and XYs>=T (ie, KTs etc)

call a raise from LP/blinds with pp's and SC's
PP-rule: 5/10; SC-rule 3/7
Rules being fraction of bet size relative to stacks.
Fold all high-card hands OOP to +3BB raises.

Of course if a blind makes a silly small open-raise, a call in position with AJ can be OK.

With 2+ limpers:
Add Axs
Same call/fold criteria.

Is this any good? Suggestions?!

Cheers,
Rush
