I don't know, there's already $1,100 in the pot. I don't exclude QQ at all. I also tend to agree with droq that only a complete idiot would get in that deep PF without at least JJ, which I really don't see here. I lay it down without much thought.
As to PF, I probably would have flat called rather than making it $500. I feel sure a lot of people don't particularly like this play of KK, but I feel a lot more comfortable with it rather than getting in excessively deep, then having some sort of horrible board--the obvious being an A.
On this board (any board without an A), in theory I'd like to bet out 2/3 pot, then re-raise all-in when he raises me. And, again in theory, AA is supposed to lay down there (?). I've been know to chicken out, though, on the final all-in.
There are indeed some who go crazy over AQ, but I honestly don't particularly like seeing a Q (or for that matter a J) on there with KK and that kind of PF action.
I really wish I had some data on how this more cautious play of KK actually is working (alas, no pokertracker, B&M!). But I really feel like it has been pretty successful. I will say that I do have some different plans for whenever (if ever) everyone consistently lays down to my re-raises, which are currently restricted to AA (namely re-raise AK and JJ-AA, possibly even any ace, if I can grow some bigger cojones...).
