Should I play tighter when Multitabling??

Postby Zuccala » Tue Sep 13, 2005 6:24 am

Hey Guys, I usually play 2 tables at a time. I have recently moved to 3 tables now. My question is now that I am playing an extra 50 hands an hour should I tighten my starting requirment a little because I am going to see alot more premium starting hands. Is there less of a need to play the borderline hands? It would make sense to me if the answer is yes?? Any help would be appreciated!

I play at Tigergaming and it is not PT compatiable. Right now I am seeing flops at about 18%-26%. All pairs, Sc's in LP, suited 1 gappers in LP, AK and AQ. I am just bacially wondsering if I should drop the sc's and 1 gappers because i will see more premium hands. Thanks!

I dont play 1 gappers very often, but the connectors win some pretty nice pots. I wouldnt stop playing them as long as youre only doing it in position.

If you only play premium hands, you wont get paid off enough. Theres a guy who plays $2/$4 with me all the time. His VIP is 12%. He raises premium hands and limps lokking for sets. Thats all he does. If he limps ( or calls a raise) and then puts money in the pot, he has a set. I'll never pay him off.

That strategy WILL work however against the avg players. Hes at about 3.5PTBBs after 2000 hands I have with him. He plays 3 tables (maybe more if hes playing another site at the same time). But only his 3 tables at Prima, hes around $50/hr which isnt bad.
