Hey Guys, I was dealt in LP and raised 1 ep limper 5BB. The flop came down [jc][2s]. I bet the pot and was called. The turn was and it went check.check. Now the river came he led out with a pot size bet and I called. He turned over 69s for two pair. Did i do anything wrong here or was this destined to happen? I think he was gonna c/r me on the turn if i bet. I just did not expect to see 6-9 suited. I ws thinking Aj or KJ maybe.HElp!!

I think you played it well and minimized the loss. There's nothing you can do if he calls a pot size bet with 2nd pair no kicker. Make a note and try to take advantage in the future by betting more TP or better against this guy. He will get lucky a few times, but you should be able to make money off him.

The real question is... How the **** do you call a 5xBB PF raise and call a pot-sized bet with middle pair/crap kicker...? He monkeyed his way into a win on this one... But, ya GOTTA look for this guy whenever he's playing... You'll win your money back 1000x over...
