Both times my instinct told me I was up against a set but with the amount of retards on Party Poker I couldn't lay down. How many lay down in these situations?

Well, maybe I´m not the one you should listen to but I am giving my opinion.

I think you got overaggressive with top two. After those monster reraises, the only hands that are calling you are sets, IMHO. I like to call his raise and then raise the turn, probably folding if he goes all in. I know that sounds easier that it is but I have been playing top two exactly like that, and every time they call me I am beat. Doesnt it make any sense?

Unless you are againsta total maniac I dont think we should get that aggressive with top two. That is a move I am only doing with sets or better or if I am against a calling station who is very happy to play for all his chips with TPTK.

On hand1, I would probably min-reraise him and if he pushes I am folding with no reads. Same on hand2. I think that would have saved you a lot, because at that point, you would be fearing AJ.

Maybe I am being to weak tight. I want to see what the others have to say.

No way in hell I'm getting away from the first hand... No one raised PF, combined w/ the fact that you have a Q and a T, you can really only put him on 33 as beating you... I think the times he's got AQ or A10 if hes a jackass are just as likely...

Hand 2 I think I could've gotten away from, at least a little cheaper... Someone bet, you raised (probably not enough), got cold called, and reraised AGAIN... I think I'm done there... Call me weak/tight if you want, but my 2pr has GOTTA be shrinkin up on that one.. One could easily have trips afraid of the flush or straight, and the other could have [Kc] [Qc] ... Somethin like that... Even if you're winning right now, you gotta think one or both of these jackballs is chasin the straight/flush, and you're gonna be dodging a million outs for the rest of the hand...

Tell me if it´s tough.

I am UTG with T9c and limp. UTG+1 minraises to $1. CO calls and I call.

The flop is T 9 7. Yes! I lead for full pot, about $3. UTG+1 raises to 12! HGe has about 30 more and I have him covered. CO folds. I push all in for 54 and he insta calls. Flip TT and I didnt hit my miracle nines of course.

I I think there is no cheap way to let go. I see too many players going crazy with overpairs at the 25-50 tables and I know its profitable but in these cases there were no PF raisers, they are screaming sets. When they raise big or whatever they raise when they have a big pair, I am pushing if I hit even bottom pair. Again, that was not the case...
