Question - why does it always seem that when there is a pair on the borad someone else has it with a bigger kicker?

When they call your bet with a pair on the board does it mean that they have one as well? Sure seems that way.

I had A7 in the BB - the flop was 767 and I checked to the BTN who bet. The SB and I called. SB checked and I bet the Turn and they both folded. Guess no one had a 7 but me.

Thanks - I most often bet out my trips and when I was bluffing more would bet from the blinds when there was a pair on the board.

It is strange that both blinds had a 7 and the flop had 2 ot them.

Slowplaying in NL is not a good idea. Here I though that I was safe with the only 7 -
